Friday Night Sound Round #2

Well another Friday is here, you have made it though another work week! Wanna know how you can celebrate? There are lots of different things going on in the city tonight. Everything from Sports, to some super sized drinks, and some great live music for a great cause!

Kicking things off tonight in the sports department is the greatest rivalry in junior hockey! The Regina Pats play host to The Moose Jaw Warriors tonight at the Brandt Centre. The Pats are in the thick of the WHL Eastern Conference playoff race and need your support! Go watch tomorrows stars, today! Puck drop is a 6PM!

Friday Night Sound

Well it is the first Friday here at the new Social Sound! This is exciting because it gives us a chance to introduce to you a new weekly blog about what is going on in Regina each and every Friday night.

Yes Friday the day everyone works oh so hard for, the start of the weekend! But how will we spend our Friday night? how can we celebrate or wash away the long work week? Will we go out to a show? to the club? or go see a movie? I guess it all depends on how how you feel and what you're into. Here are some things to do in the Queen City tonight.

Tonight at the Distrikt, The Segway Jousters, 908 and ? (yes thats the name of the band) are playing a free all ages show. Having watched the first two bands before I can tell you for free and in a venue like the Distrikt this is a great event for the music lover! and you can't complain about the price (free till 10PM) It will be a great night of music at the distrikt!

Not feeling the music tonight? How about a social night of drinking with friends? Head over to PURE Ultra Lounge for a great party atmosphere! Local DJ Flatland Funk will be pumping out the beats tonight, He has played on the boodang tour in the past and is billed as one of Saskatchewans top Dj's. Go check him out and own the night a PURE.
